iMe Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the iMe apps, the iMe websites, the iMe bots, and iMe Premium (together, the "Services"), operated by iMe Lab FZCO ("iMe", "we", "us", or "our").

By installing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. The iMe Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data.

1. About these Terms

1.1. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and iMe Lab FZCO, a company incorporated and existing under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

1.2. Some products of the iMe ecosystem are separate services with their own terms ("Product Terms"):

Those products are governed by their Product Terms, not by these Terms, whether you open them in the Apps or in any Telegram app.

1.3. Telegram Premium and Telegram Stars are sold by iMe Shop — in the Apps and in its Telegram bot — under the iMe Shop Terms. iMe Shop is not operated by or affiliated with Telegram.

2. Definitions

3. The Services

3.1. The Apps let you use your Telegram Account with additional features — for example, several accounts in one app, chat organization tools, AI Features, translation, voice-to-text conversion, to-do lists, bookmarks, and appearance settings.

3.2. The Services also include the Website, the iMe Bots, iMe Premium, AI Credits, and the rewards described in Section 12.

3.3. Features, limits, and prices may differ between platforms, countries, and versions of the Apps, and may change. For a purchase, the features, limits, and price that apply are those shown in the App, on the Website, or in the relevant iMe Bot when you make it.

3.4. Some features are available only to iMe Premium subscribers or only in some regions. We may add, change, limit, or remove features, including for legal, security, or technical reasons. For paid features, Section 10.11 also applies.

3.5. Some iMe features, such as the iMe Premium mark, are visible only to people who also use iMe, and some features require an up-to-date App.

3.6. Translation is produced automatically by a third-party service. It may be inaccurate or incomplete and may not be available for every message or language.

4. Relationship with Telegram

4.1. iMe is an independent, unofficial client of the Telegram service built on the Telegram API. iMe is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent or official representative of Telegram Messenger Inc. or Telegram FZ-LLC.

4.2. Telegram is not responsible for the operation of the Services. Your Telegram Account and your use of Telegram remain subject to Telegram's own terms, including the Telegram Terms of Service, the Telegram Terms of Service for Mini Apps, the Telegram Terms of Service for Bots, the Terms of Service for Telegram Stars, the Telegram Content Licensing and AI Scraping Terms, and the Telegram Privacy Policy.

4.3. Your iMe Premium and AI Credits are linked to your Telegram Account. If Telegram limits or deletes that account, they may become unavailable, and only Telegram can restore access to it. We do not compensate for such a loss unless the law requires it.

4.4. Telegram may show its own sponsored messages in the Apps. These are Telegram's advertising, not iMe's.

4.5. Telegram Premium and Telegram Stars are Telegram's products. They are separate from iMe Premium. Once Telegram Premium or Telegram Stars reach your Telegram Account, whether bought through iMe Shop or received as a reward, Telegram's own terms for them apply, and Telegram's decisions about them are outside our control. The Apps may not support every feature of Telegram, Telegram Premium, or Telegram Stars, and some features may become available in the Apps later than in the official Telegram apps.

4.6. All names, trademarks, and logos of Telegram are the property of their owners and are used only to identify the Telegram service.

5. Signing in and your Telegram Account

5.1. You sign in to the Apps with your Telegram Account. Telegram sends the login code. You enter it only on the App's sign-in screen, and it goes directly to Telegram. iMe staff, support, and iMe Bots will never ask you to send them this code or your two-step verification password. iMe itself sends messages about your subscription and payments only in the App or through official iMe Bots; app stores and payment services may also send you receipts, for example by email.

5.2. Some features work through iMe's servers — for example, AI Features, iMe Premium, synchronization, and rewards. They do not need a separate account or password: the App automatically connects your Telegram Account to iMe, and your subscription, AI Credits, rewards, and settings are linked to your Telegram ID. So that you can use these features and receive iMe news, the App exchanges service messages with iMe Bots from your Telegram Account. The Privacy Policy explains what data is involved.

5.3. You are responsible for the security of your devices and your Telegram Account and for activity under it. iMe cannot restore access to a Telegram Account or end other people's sessions. If you suspect that someone else is using your account, end unfamiliar sessions in Telegram's settings (Devices) and contact Telegram support.

5.4. You may use several Telegram Accounts in the Apps, up to the limit shown in your App. These Terms apply to each of them.

6. License, open source, and app stores

6.1. Subject to these Terms, iMe grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Apps for your own use, including for work, but not to resell the Apps or provide them to others as a service.

6.2. The Apps are based on the open-source code of the official Telegram apps and include other open-source components. These components are licensed under their own licenses, including the GNU General Public License. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under those licenses. Where a restriction in these Terms conflicts with an open-source license, the open-source license prevails for the component it covers.

6.3. Except as allowed by an open-source license or by law, you must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease iMe's servers and online services, reverse engineer them, or remove notices of ownership. Your rights in the code of the Apps are governed by the open-source licenses described in Section 6.2.

6.4. The names, logos, and other trademarks of iMe are not licensed to you under these Terms or under any open-source license. If you distribute a modified version of an App, you must not use them in a way that suggests it comes from iMe.

6.5. If you downloaded an App from the Apple App Store, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of that App. Where it conflicts with these Terms on the license of the App, the Apple agreement prevails. If you downloaded an App from Google Play or another store, that store's terms also apply to your use of the store.

7. Acceptable use

7.1. You must not use the Services to:

7.3. We may investigate suspected breaches and act under Section 16. Where required by law, we report illegal content and activity to the competent authorities.

8. AI Features

8.1. AI Features include, as available in your App, chat with the iMe AI assistant (@iMe_ai_bot), summaries of messages and chats, answers to questions about messages, recognition of text and objects in images, conversion of voice and video messages to text, text to speech, and image generation.

8.2. What is sent. When you use an AI Feature, the App sends the content needed for it to iMe's servers, which pass it to third-party AI model providers that run the feature — for example, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud, Groq, or Perplexity, directly or through OpenRouter. The providers we use may change. Content is sent only when you use the feature. Section 4.5 of the Privacy Policy describes this in more detail.

8.3. Other people's content. Messages, voice messages, and images in your chats may contain other people's personal data. Use AI Features on other people's content only where you are entitled to do so, and do not use them to profile, monitor, or harm other people.

8.4. You are dealing with AI. Responses of @iMe_ai_bot and other AI Features are generated by AI systems, not by people. Content generated with AI Features may be marked as AI-generated, including in machine-readable form. Do not remove or alter such marks.

8.5. Accuracy. AI output is generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive, or out of date. It is not professional advice — medical, legal, financial, or other. Check important information before relying on it. You are responsible for how you use the output.

8.6. Prohibited uses. You must not use AI Features to create content that is illegal or that is listed in Section 7.1, to impersonate others, to create misleading content about real people, or to build or train other AI models.

8.7. Limits. AI Features are subject to daily limits, which are higher for iMe Premium subscribers. Beyond the limits, some AI Features use AI Credits (Section 11). Limits, models, and prices may change.

8.8. Your Content. You keep your rights in Your Content and in the output generated for you, to the extent you have them. We use Your Content only to provide the AI Feature to you, to keep the Services secure, and to comply with the law. We do not use Your Content, or other data we receive through Telegram, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate AI models, and we do not build datasets from it.

9. Advertising

9.1. If you do not have iMe Premium, the Apps show advertising from iMe's own advertising platform, iMe Ads, and from third-party advertising networks. Advertisements are marked as advertising in the interface in which they are shown. Sections 4.4 and 6.1 of the Privacy Policy explain what data is used and what choices you have.

9.2. By tapping an advertisement, you go to what it advertises and agree to the action it offers — for example, joining a channel or starting a bot.

9.3. Advertisers are responsible for their advertisements and for the products, channels, bots, and websites they promote. iMe may review advertisements placed through iMe Ads, but approval is not endorsement. You decide for yourself whether to interact with an advertisement; take particular care with offers involving financial products, cryptocurrencies, or gambling. Report an advertisement to us under Section 23.

9.4. Telegram's sponsored messages are shown by Telegram under its own rules (Section 4.4).

9.5. Advertisers using iMe Ads are bound by the iMe Ads Terms of Use and Policies and Guidelines.

10. iMe Premium

10.1. What it is. iMe Premium is a subscription that unlocks additional iMe features, higher limits, and an iMe experience without advertising shown by iMe. The current list of features and limits is shown on the iMe Premium screen in your App. iMe Premium does not turn off Telegram's sponsored messages or promotions that channels, bots, or mini apps publish themselves.

10.2. Where you can buy it. You can subscribe in the Apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play, or through our bot @iMe_premium_bot, using the payment methods it shows — for example, Telegram Stars or bank cards. The terms of the store or payment provider also apply to your payment. For a store purchase, your billing relationship is with that store. Payments in @iMe_premium_bot are processed by third-party payment services, and the name on your statement may differ from "iMe Lab FZCO" — for example, "iMe Premium". If you do not recognize a charge, contact support before disputing it.

10.3. Periods and price. Subscriptions are offered for the periods and at the prices shown before you pay. Prices may include taxes and may differ by country and payment method. If your card is charged in a currency other than the price currency, your bank or card issuer converts it at its own rates and fees.

10.4. Free trials and introductory offers. We may offer a free trial or a discounted first period. The terms of the offer, including its length and the price after it ends, are shown before you subscribe. Who is eligible for a trial or offer is determined by the store or by us. Unless you cancel before a free trial or introductory period ends, your subscription continues automatically as a paid subscription at the price shown when you subscribed.

10.5. Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and your payment method is charged on renewal. If a renewal payment fails and is not completed, your subscription ends. To avoid renewal of a store subscription, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (App Store) or before the renewal date (Google Play). To avoid renewal of a subscription bought in @iMe_premium_bot, cancel it in the bot before the renewal date.

10.6. Canceling. You can cancel at any time: in your Apple ID subscription settings for the App Store, in Google Play subscriptions for Google Play, and in @iMe_premium_bot for subscriptions bought there. Your subscription stays active until the end of the paid period. Deleting the App, your Telegram Account, or your iMe data does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it first.

10.7. Refunds. Payments for iMe Premium are non-refundable, except where the law or the rules of the store or payment provider require otherwise. Apple and Google handle refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases under their policies. Because iMe Premium starts immediately after payment, by paying in @iMe_premium_bot you request that it start immediately and acknowledge that you lose any statutory right to withdraw from the purchase, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If we stop offering iMe Premium before your paid period ends, we will refund the unused part of the period, unless it was a free or promotional period.

10.8. One store subscription per store account. An App Store or Google Play subscription can be linked to one Telegram Account. To subscribe another Telegram Account from the same store account, use @iMe_premium_bot.

10.9. Gifts. You can buy iMe Premium for another Telegram user for a fixed period. A gift is a one-time purchase and does not renew. It is linked to the recipient's Telegram Account and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.

10.10. Promotional Premium. iMe Premium may also be granted for a limited time — for watching advertising, as a reward (Section 12), or under other promotions. The duration and conditions are shown when the offer is made. Promotional Premium has no cash value and ends automatically.

10.11. Changes to iMe Premium. We may change the features, limits, or price of iMe Premium. A new price applies to new subscriptions. If we ever change the price of active subscriptions, we will tell you in advance, in the App or through an iMe Bot, and you may cancel before the new price applies. If a change materially reduces the features or limits of iMe Premium during a paid period, we will tell you in advance, in the App or through an iMe Bot. If you bought iMe Premium in an iMe Bot, you may then end your subscription within 30 Days and receive a refund for the unused part of the period. A price change for a store subscription also follows the store's rules. We may also make some iMe Premium features free for everyone or offer them in a separate plan, or remove them if we can no longer provide them for legal or technical reasons.

10.12. Payment disputes. Please contact support before disputing a payment: most issues are resolved faster that way. Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to dispute a payment with your bank, card issuer, store, or payment provider. While a dispute is open, we may share information about your purchases with the store or payment provider handling it.

11. AI Credits

11.1. AI Credits let you use AI Features beyond the free daily limits. Before you make a request, the App shows its cost in credits or, where the cost depends on the model or the length of the conversation, an estimate.

11.2. You can get AI Credits by buying them in the Apps through the App Store or Google Play, or through @iMe_ai_bot using the payment methods it shows. AI Credits may also be granted as rewards, for example for watching advertising.

11.3. AI Credits are a license to use AI Features. They do not constitute a bank account, deposit, stored value, electronic money, or financial instrument; do not accrue interest; have no cash value; cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged; and are non-refundable, except where the law or the rules of the store require otherwise.

11.4. AI Credits do not expire.

11.5. We may change the cost of AI Features in credits, the free limits, and the credit packages. Changes apply only to requests made after they take effect and do not change the number of credits on your balance. Where the App shows an estimate, the final cost of a request may be higher, for example for a longer conversation or another model.

11.6. Your AI Credits and any remaining period of iMe Premium are tied to your Telegram ID. If your Telegram Account is deleted, or you ask us to delete your iMe data, unused AI Credits and the rest of a paid period are lost and are not refunded, unless the law requires otherwise. Before we delete your iMe data at your request, we will tell you what you will lose and remind you to cancel your subscription.

11.7. If a payment for AI Credits is refunded or reversed, we may remove the corresponding AI Credits from your balance and restrict your access to AI Features.

12. Rewards and referrals

12.1. The Apps may offer rewards for completing tasks, such as daily check-ins or watching advertising, and for inviting new users. Rewards can include free days of iMe Premium, AI Credits, Telegram Premium, Telegram Stars, and tokens. Some rewards may be selected at random. The available rewards and conditions are shown in the App. Telegram Premium and Telegram Stars received as rewards are subject to Section 4.5.

12.2. Token rewards are delivered to iMe Wallet. Once credited, they are subject to the iMe Wallet terms. Token rewards are not investment advice and have no guaranteed value.

12.3. You may earn rewards on each of your Telegram Accounts. Rewards must not be obtained artificially, including by inviting yourself, using fake accounts, automation, scripts, or modified clients, or spamming invite links. We determine whether the conditions for a reward are met based on task completion data; if you disagree with our decision, contact us under Section 23. We may refuse, cancel, or reclaim rewards obtained in breach of these Terms, and rewards linked to a payment that has been reversed.

12.4. Rewards are personal, have no cash value except where stated, and cannot be exchanged. We may change or end any reward program at any time. Rewards already credited are not affected, unless they were obtained in breach of these Terms.

13. Third-party services and content

13.1. The Services let you access content and services of others — for example, channels, groups, bots, and mini apps on Telegram, app stores and payment providers, and GIF and map services. These are governed by their own terms. iMe does not control them and is not responsible for them.

13.2. iMe Wallet, iMe Ads, and iMe Shop are separate products governed by their own terms (Section 1.2). The Apps may open them as trusted iMe services.

14. Intellectual property and feedback

14.1. The Services, the iMe name and logo, the parts of the Apps created by iMe, and the content we provide belong to iMe or its licensors, subject to Section 6.2.

14.2. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.

14.3. If you believe that content made available by iMe infringes your rights, contact us under Section 23 with enough detail for us to identify it. Content sent through Telegram should be reported to Telegram.

15. Age and child safety

15.1. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Australia, you must be at least 18 years old. If the law of your country sets a higher age, that age applies. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may purchase paid Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

15.2. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Report such content in the Services to us under Section 23, and content on Telegram to Telegram. We act on reports and cooperate with competent authorities.

16. Suspension and termination

16.1. You may stop using the Services at any time. Section 10.6 explains how to cancel a subscription, Section 11.6 explains what happens to AI Credits and iMe Premium, and the Privacy Policy explains how to request deletion of your iMe data.

16.2. We may suspend or end your access to all or part of the Services, including iMe Premium, AI Credits, and rewards, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or the law, if we need to do so to protect users, iMe, or third parties, or if a store, a payment provider, Telegram, or an authority requires it. Where we do so, we will tell you the reason and how to contact us if you disagree, unless the law prohibits it or this could harm the security of the Services or an investigation. Where we end paid Services for reasons other than your breach, we refund the unused prepaid part.

16.3. Sections 2, 6.3, 6.4, 8.5, 8.8, 10.12, 11.6, 11.7, 12.3, 14, 17 to 19, 21, and 22 survive the termination of these Terms or of your access to the Services.

17. Disclaimers

17.1. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, iMe gives no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

17.2. The Services depend on Telegram, app stores, AI providers, networks, and other third parties outside our control.

18. Limitation of liability

18.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, iMe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

18.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, iMe's total liability for all claims related to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to iMe for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

18.3. iMe is not liable for the acts, failures, or omissions of third-party providers, including Telegram, app stores, payment providers, and AI providers.

18.4. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence, our obligation to make refunds under Sections 10.7, 10.11, and 16.2, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18.5. If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights, for example to Services that conform to the contract and to remedies if they do not. Nothing in Sections 17 to 19 limits those rights.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify iMe Lab FZCO and its officers, employees, and agents against any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Services; (c) Your Content; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right — in each case to the extent caused by your fault.

20. Changes to the Services and these Terms

20.1. We may modify the Services and these Terms. Updated Terms are published on the Website, and the date at the top is updated.

20.2. We will tell you about material changes in advance, in the App, through an iMe Bot, or on the Website. Unless the notice says otherwise, they apply from the date stated in it. For an active subscription, Section 10.11 applies.

20.3. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Services and cancel your subscription before the changes apply.

21. Governing law and disputes

21.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

21.2. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute by contacting us under Section 23. Please describe the issue, the actions or transactions that led to it, and the outcome you are seeking, and attach any supporting evidence. We will respond within thirty (30) Days of receiving your claim.

21.3. A dispute that is not resolved within thirty (30) Days of our receipt of your claim is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE. This does not limit your rights under Section 10.12.

21.4. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, including any right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

22. General

22.1. Entire agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and iMe regarding the Services and supersede any prior understanding. The Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. Product Terms are separate agreements.

22.2. Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

22.3. No waiver. Our failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it, and a single or partial exercise of a right does not prevent its further exercise.

22.4. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or successor.

22.5. Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental action, network failures, failures of payment systems, and the unavailability, malfunction, or change of rules of Telegram, app stores, or other third-party services.

22.6. Notices. We may give notices in the App, through an iMe Bot, or on the Website. You may give notices to us under Section 23.

22.7. Language. These Terms are drawn up in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only, and the English version prevails.
